Branding for a season of performances by the Kibbutz Dance Company. The company is engaged in modern dance and operates from Kibbutz Gaaton. Modern dance began with the refraction of classical ballet, and an exploration of natural bodily expression and movement. The project seeks to distill the dance movements into the branding action, while addressing the central theme of the troupe's values - single versus group. The project emphasizes the dismantling and construction of internal spaces by the dancers through animation between a single body and a group dancing as one body. while addressing the central theme of the troupe's values - single versus group. The project emphasizes the dismantling and construction of internal spaces by the dancers through animation—between a single body and a group dancing as one body. The videos were made using classical animation techniques and a rotoscope. The sound is inspired by minimalist music to underscore the rhythm and sound that dancers create as part of the physical action of dance.
Made as a final project at Bezalel.
